Our winter and summer programming promotes cultural and economic integration into the greater Jackson community by providing opportunities for children to participate in the activities that define the mountain town of Jackson Wyoming.

Who is Eligible

Our programs are for children (ages 4-13) who live below the poverty line. Any child enrolled in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program at his or her school is eligible for our programming. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis.

Winter Programming

Alpine Skiing Programs

Winter is our favorite season here at the Doug Coombs Foundation! Through our diverse programming we provide opportunities for children to learn to ski when they are just four years old. All participants are enrolled in the Snow King Mountain Sports School where they ski all season.

What We Provide

  • Enrollment in the Snow King Mountain Sports School
  • Lift Tickets to Snow King and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
  • Marmot Ski Jacket
  • Smith Goggles and Helmet
  • K2 Skis / Boots / Poles Rentals through Snow King

Spring – Summer – Fall Programming

While skiing is our main focus, we encourage all of our kids to remain active and engaged throughout the non skiing months. Our Spring, Summer and Fall programming is dedicated to getting kids into the great outdoors, where they can play outside and cultivate new friendships with their peers in school.
